This is Cat Ninja unblocked: the original Flash game is loaded above on Ruffle, served from catninja.co itself, so it plays in an ordinary browser tab on a school Chromebook, laptop or phone — free, with no download and no account.
Cat Ninja: a tiny cat, a broken crystal and 30 rooms that talk back
Cat Ninja opens with a boast. "HEY! I destroyed the massive energy crystal, muahaha. Its parts have been scattered around this world! You must retrieve all of its parts! If you do not, the world could explode… or something." That is the whole plot, painted on the wall of the first room, and the same voice follows you through all 30 levels with advice that is sometimes true.
The game was made by Richman Stewart, who did the programming and the pixel art, and published by TrackMill. It is a Flash game from the era when a platformer could be one person’s project, and it plays like one: tight controls, short rooms, a death counter in the top corner, and a sense of humour. It runs here on Ruffle, the open-source Flash emulator, from this domain.
The early levels teach one move each. Level 2 is the wall jump. Level 3 adds the double jump, rolling and the slam, and shows you sticky walls that refuse to be climbed. Level 4 has glass floors that only a slam breaks, and a big button a sign tells you never to press. From level 5 the gravity rooms start turning the map on its side; level 10 hands you a jetpack; level 15 is a maze of teleporters; and the last stretch mixes all of it with lasers and slow mines.
Controls & mechanics
| Action | Control | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Move | Left and right arrow keys | The cat accelerates quickly and stops almost dead — small taps line up jumps |
| Jump / double jump | Up arrow, tap again in the air | One extra jump per leap; plan the second tap for correcting the landing |
| Wall jump | Jump into a wall, then Up | Kicks you off the other way; zig-zag between two walls to climb a shaft. Sticky walls cannot be wall-jumped |
| Roll | Hold Down while moving | Low and fast — gets you under gaps the standing cat will not fit through |
| Slam | Hold Down in the air | Drops straight down; slamming on glass breaks it |
| Jetpack | Space (from level 10) | Toggles the jetpack on and off; steer with the arrows while it is on |
| Reset | R | Puts you back when you are stuck — the level 6 sign says "Pressing R saves the day", and level 18 needs it |
How to get further in Cat Ninja
- Wall jumps need the second press: Jumping into a wall only sticks you to it. Press Up again while you slide to kick off. In a shaft, hold the direction away from the wall only after you kick, or you slide back.
- Learn which walls are sticky: Level 3 shows them: the sticky walls look different and will not give you a wall jump. When a climb seems impossible, check whether you are trying to kick off the wrong surface.
- Slam, do not fall, onto glass: Landing on glass normally does nothing. Hold Down in the air to slam and you go straight through — it is the way down in level 4 and the whole point of the "glass ride of DEATH" in level 8.
- Read the signs, then doubt them: The narrator lies on purpose. In level 15 it promises the right teleporter will not kill you; in level 16 it says you are on a timer (you are not). Treat every sign as a hint about where the trap is.
- Use the continue points: The continue points you pass in a room are where you respawn after a death. Take a breath at each one — rushing the next section is how the death counter climbs.
- Press R before you get frustrated: Some rooms let you drop into a spot you cannot climb out of (level 18’s "wrong path"). R is faster than trying every jump.
Key features
- 30 levels: Short, hand-built rooms that each add one idea, from the first wall jump to the last room in level 29.
- Five moves: Double jump, wall jump, roll, slam and, later, a jetpack you switch on and off with Space.
- Gravity rooms: Levels 5 to 14 have gravity changers that turn the room — and your sense of which way is up — around.
- Traps that talk: A narrator on the walls jokes, dares you to press buttons and occasionally tells the truth.
- Deaths and crystals counted: The top corner keeps a running count of deaths and energy crystals collected.
- Keyboard only: Arrows, Space and R. Nothing to click once the game has focus, and it fits a Chromebook screen.

Pro tip: Most deaths in Cat Ninja come from holding a direction too long after a wall jump. Kick off, let go for a split second, then steer — the cat carries its momentum, and a short tap lands it where you meant.
